Rubicon Law as Deal Counsel in the acquisition of Poon Resources Pte. Ltd. by Komeda Holdings Co., Ltd
Rubicon Law is pleased to announce that it had acted as deal counsel to the shareholders of Poon Resources Pte. Ltd. (“Poon Resources”) in the sale of their shares to Komeda International Holdings Pte. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Komeda Holdings Co., Ltd. (“Komeda”) which is a company listed on the Tokyo and Nagoya stock exchange.
Komeda is a Japan-based holding company engaged in the operation of chain coffee shops and other F&B ventures. Komeda has a total of over 1000 coffee shops, 13 restaurants, and 3 bakeries in Japan, with over 30 branches in Taiwan and another in Shanghai.
Poon Resources operates a chain of restaurants in Singapore under the brands Kaffe & Toast”, “Saap Saap Thai” and “Ma Mum”.
