With over 25 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, Shiao Ning’s main area of practice is in public and private mergers and acquisitions covering domestic and cross-border transactions, across a broad range of industries. Her other areas of expertise extend to capital markets covering initial public offerings, rights issues and private placements, as well as private equity and venture capital related matters, regulatory work and general corporate advisory.
Recognised as one of Singapore’s top 100 lawyers, Shiao Ning is a prominent leader in her field who has earned numerous accolades from her peers and clients. She is described by The Legal 500 as “experienced, practical and humble,” and is commended for her “wealth of experience” in domestic and cross-border M&A and venture capital financing matters. Shiao Ning is a member of the Law Society of Singapore, the Singapore Academy of Law and the Inquiry Panel of the Law Society of Singapore. She was also a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Singapore Institute of Legal Education from 2005 to 2022 and an Adjunct Tutor at the Singapore Management University Law Faculty from 2016 to 2019.
