Acquisition of CMTi Pte. Ltd. by the Storskogen Group – Rubicon Law acted as deal counsel for the shareholders of CMTi Pte. Ltd.

We have had the pleasure of acting for the shareholders of CMTi Pte. Ltd. (“CMTi”) in the sale of their significant interest in CMTi to the Storskogen Group (“Storskogen”), which was completed on 3 October 2022.

Founded in 2005, CMTi is an industry leader in the production and supply of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies in Southeast Asia, with over 300 employees operating in Singapore and Indonesia. The company’s clients are wide-ranging and include multi-national companies in the medical, automative, industrial and aviation industries.  

Storskogen is a Sweden-based investment group which regularly acquires and operates diverse small and medium sized companies chosen for their strong market position and sustainable business models. The acquisition of CMTi is Storskogens’ second investment in Asia through its Singapore arm and is a vital addition to Storskogen’s portfolio in the field of vertical automation.

The acquisition is expected to grant CMTi access and support from Storskogen’s networks and expertise and bolster CMTi’s its capacity for future growth.
