Rubicon Law acted for OCTAVE Capital in the sale of The Gentle Group | August 2026
Rubicon Law is pleased to announce that it acted as legal adviser to OCTAVE Capital in the sale of its investment in one of its portfolio companies, The Gentle Group Pte. Ltd. (“The Gentle Group”). The Gentle Group was acquired by iWOW Technology Limited (“iWOW”) and the transaction completed in early July 2026.
The Gentle Group is a Singapore-based provider of clinically formulated therapeutic nutrition solutions and rehabilitation services for the healthcare and eldercare sectors.
OCTAVE Capital is a Singapore-based private equity and venture capital firm that invests in purpose-driven, high-growth businesses across Asia, combining commercial performance with measurable social and environmental impact. OCTAVE Capital first invested in The Gentle Group in 2020, supporting the company's growth and development in the therapeutic nutrition and rehabilitation sectors prior to this successful exit.
The transaction valued The Gentle Group at S$11.2 million and represents a significant milestone for both companies. The acquisition supports iWOW's strategic expansion beyond its established AgeTech business into the broader longevity economy by integrating therapeutic nutrition and rehabilitation solutions into its existing senior safety and social connection offerings.
